1.       The software is free and open source.

2.       No ECCN.  No encryption is used.

3.       Latest release is GA 5.5.  Found here http://hpc.pnl.gov/globalarrays/download.shtml .  GA is actively developed and will see additional releases as part of the Exascale Computing Project.  https://exascaleproject.org/

4.       You can find our license within the source code or online http://hpc.pnl.gov/globalarrays/license.shtml .

The GA team is always interested in hearing back from our users.  We do not have a formal survey process but, if possible, could you provide us with additional information about your work?

Thank you for your interest in and use of Global Arrays.

We have 3rd party contributions from Intel in our latest release, GA 5.5.  They contributed the omnipath support within our ComEx sources.

We include subsets of the reference BLAS and LAPACK implementations as part of our sources and build them in case a suitable, optimized BLAS library is not found on users’ systems.  We rename the functions with a “GAL_” prefix to avoid conflicts with end user software that might build GA without an external BLAS but then later link their own applications to an external BLAS.

Otherwise, we have previously made efforts to remove all other 3rd party code.  To the best of our knowledge, no other 3rd party components exist within the GA sources.
