Aloha Oahu Rubyists!

Joseph Heaukulani is organizing a Railsbridge workshop next month and we are looking for volunteers that would be able to help out as teaching assistants to the course. (and no you don't have to be an expert to be a TA)  You can RSVP as a volunteer at http://www.bridgetroll.org/events/72

"RailsBridge workshops are a free and fun way to get started or level up with Rails, Ruby, and other web technologies. Our events focus on increasing diversity in tech, so that people of all backgrounds can feel welcome and comfortable in our industry."

There is a really awesome Ruby Rogues episode about the workshops you can listen to to get pumped up.

The workshop will consist of an "installfest" (5-8pm friday 1/31) and a workshop the following day (1:30-9pm saturday 2/1). It will be hosted in the Iolani Sullivan Center which is really an amazing building.

Please help us grow our Ruby Ohana and show the national Railsbridge community our Aloha :)
