Job description:
The Juniors Director shall:
The Juniors Director shall manage the USOA Juniors program.
Report to the UW Hockey board on a quarterly basis
Be in charge of junior players 23 years and under.
Liason with tournament organizers and be in charge of organizing juniors teams for a variety of tournaments:
i.e. Local, national and international
Find coach, manager and other personal for juniors teams
Maintain a list of qualifying players under 23 years old
Establish and maintain a “best practice” for junior teams in the US
i.e. collection of permits for players, rules of team etc.
Help to increase the interest of young players joining underwater hockey and create opportunities for junior teams across the US.
Requirements: The person must be a dues paying member of USOA and an active member of the U.S. underwater hockey community.
