Hi Hockeynet!
I'm planning out some travel through Europe this August. I'm trying to decide where to go.
I'm looking for good hockey (and maybe free lodging with hockey friends).
Does anyone have any good stories or referrals?
I've looked on uwhtourist, but that doesn't really paint the picture of where I should go for high-level hockey, who is active, friendly, etc.
I'll be doing the digital nomad thing, working my US job remotely for a couple weeks and travelling about a bit only on weekends. So not really typical euro-tourist. I need to find a place to stay (with internet) to work for a while, play hockey at night, and maybe some light sight-seeing after work hours.
