Hello Teams!

We are cordially inviting your underwater hockey team to attend the CanAm Midwestern Championships (CMC's) Tournament and SuperClinic January 29th-31st near exotic Milwaukee Wisconsin!

The venue will feature two full Sport Court Playing Surfaces and CanAm's custom Sport Court Uni2 puck.  Paid referrees. One of the fastest UWH surfaces in North America.  This won't be a tournament to miss.

Friday SuperClinic?  Yes Please.
Two time world champion, captain, and New Zealand Men's team coach Liam Watson will be joining us for the weekend.
We'll be running three separate skill levels, from rookie to tippy-top level players.

Apart from being one of the baddest players on the planet, hockey nerd Liam recently started up Hydro Underwater Hockey.  He's designed some of your old favorite sticks, the Stingray and the Whiptail.  Take some time to learn about exciting new designs and materials they are whipping up.

Up-to-date information will be found on the clinic's facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/855386167913528/

Tournament - Saturday and Sunday.
The 2016 CMCs will feature two divisions: Regional Elite and Open Division.  This year play for both divisions will be on Saturday and Sunday only!

Our goal is to provide full UWH referees for this tournament.  Refereeing will be provided by a paid referring system used with success at CMCs last year. Full information regarding the ref situation will be made available as we draw closer to the tournament.

Milwaukee is located 1 hour north of the Windy City, Chicago, Illinois. There are (3) major airports which support all of the major airlines and most discount carriers including, jet blue, frontier, air tran and southwest. The tournament hotel offers a free shuttle service to/from the Milwaukee airport, the pool, banquet and other places close by, so no car rental is necessary. Flights are very reasonably priced into Milwaukee from all parts of the country, and most Midwest teams can drive to Milwaukee in less than 8 hours!

Every year CMCs attracts players from the US, Canada, Colombia, and further abroad.
Take a look at our tournament website as it will have the most up to date information:

Team entry fees and registration is due by December 31st, 2015.  The final 'late' deadline for any entry is January 6th, 2016.

This tournament is a USOA sanctioned tournament, so 2016 membership dues must be paid prior to the tournament.  A $5.00 development fee will be added to your tournament fees.

Registration packets and final information will available over the next few days.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send them to us at: tourn...@canamuwhgear.com

UWH Regional Elite Division:
For the third year running, CanAm will use CMCs to help foster the growth of a regional championship system within the United States.  Play will be Saturday and Sunday only.
Five teams will represent their USOA region.  As the Regional Championships mature, each region will feature a yearly tryout open to both men and women.  There may be a tryout for your region.
If you are interested, please contact your local Regional Representative as soon as possible:
