My Favorite Shoes Ever
By W. McGonigle
Not exaggerating, I absolutely love these shoes and wear them everywhere. They are tremendously comfortable (my foot runs slightly narrow), provide great support, and fit perfectly from day 1. At the same time I bought a pair of Hi-Tec shoes in a very similar style (but a color Vasque does not offer) and these are so much better, for not too much more money. These are absolutely the best value. I've had a pair of Vasque hiking shoes for almost fifteen years and aside from new laces, they're so durable, that I was happy to buy Vasque again, and I will continue to do so. These shoes I've used for light hiking, trail cycling, yard work, roof work, and grocery shopping, all to excellent success.
A few items of note for when not to wear these:
1) their ice traction is pretty poor. It just turned cold here and I've begun to notice this. I was surprised because their wet-rock traction is pretty decent.
2) there is absolutely no foot protection from dropped
items with these. Even my leather dress shoes protect my foot a little bit if I drop a piece of wood on them, but these are like a slipper with a tremendous tread, from the dropping-stuff-on-foot perspective. Be smart.
3) No water resistance to speak of. Water on top is on the sock. If these weren't so filthy already I'd spray them down with NeverWet to help.

Best shoes so far
By Steven
Very comfortable, durable shoe. I am very tough on shoes and would need to replace my pair every 4 months. These I have had longer and still look close to new. The seams are still in tact and interior is hardly worn. I plan on buying these again.

Another great Vasque shoe
By Jacob R. Wiskerchen
This company never disappoints and always delivers as promised. I have a pair I've been wearing since 2010 and they're finally starting to come apart at the seams but still retain their durability enough to work in the yard. These will be used for casual life and less so for hiking as the first ones were so I expect at least the same life out of them.
