A winner
By RickPNJ
As I age, I seem to be having some problems with various footwear. I had pretty much worn the same brand for the last 20 years or so. The last year the quality and design of this brand has caused me to explore other options.
My first selection was a brand that has become very popular with athletes and has spilled over to the mainstream. At first they seemed to be everything I was looking for, low key design, comfortable and light. The break in period caused some foot pain the first time I wore them however, I expected that.
I have had them from several months now. I do not wear them frequently enough to wear them out and I do not run in them. I cannot even wear them for a half day without enduring a solid day of foot pain. To the trash they went.
I have considered Merrell's for some time now. After my last experience I decided to pull the plug and order a pair. These seemed to be low key and had good reviews. Being waterproof is a great bonus
this time of year in NJ.
They arrived on time and packaged well thanks to Amazon Prime. I wore them the day after they arrived and haven't looked back. Very comfortable and no need for break in time. I have worn them four time now and will update this review as time passes. My initial thoughts include wondering why I waited so long!

Stick with moab's
By dennis p keenan
Have a few pairs of merrell moab waterproof. They are great shoes. I bought these hoping they would be a cheaper alternative. They are ok. They don't breath as well. I will stick with the moabs going forward. They are worth the extra money. While you don't always get what you pay for. You never get what you don't pay for. ;(

Seller Great! Shoe was Defective
By Valeri Work
Seller processed a problem / cost -free return for defective right shoe. Not only not waterproof, the shoe would become wet on the inside, just by stepping in / on a small amount of water. Defective sole? Cheap materials?
