Excellent shoe - great pricing
By babyslug
I was a little apprehensive at first - buying a shoe I hadn't tried on but the reviews I'd read about scarpa staying true to size was right. I'm always an 8 in every shoe I've bought and this was no different.
The product arrived within about 7 days of ordering and the pricing has been second to none. I paid $146 AUD delivered to Sydney. Retailers here sell this model of shoe for ~$340.
While I haven't taken the boots out for a good trek I'm sure they'll serve it's purpose when I travel South America for 3 months.
They're crazy comfy and very light.

Have just come back from 3 months in South America. These boots have countered numerous cities, trekked the inca trail, survived the death road mountain on a bicycle, trudged through snow in Bolivia, walked through the amazon proper - and all without a single blister or complaint. They got completely soaked during a failed river crossing on the Death Rd but dried within 2 days after I removed the
insoles. During heavy rain (on the inca trail) and mist (Iguazu falls), the shoes remained dry and with good grip.
Perfect shoes, light, sturdy, comfortable and didn't need breaking in. After the thrashing I gave these I will ALWAYS recommend them and will continue to purchase in the future! Awesome product

Scarpa Kailash Hiking Boot
By Karna
I absolutely love these. Wore them around the house for the past few days and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to "break them in". Really comfy, good ankle support and they look great too. Can't wait to go hiking now.

Fantastic Boots!
By Sandra Ford
I've tried on a lot of boots but putting these boots on felt like coming home. Good arch support, they fit nice and snug around the ankles and are incredibly comfortable. I thought they were a little pricey at first but are well worth the money.
Also, it's hard to find boots that aren't some dam shade of brown. I like the color and have gotten compliments on the boots. I would highly recommend these to anyone. I haven't spent a whole lot of time outdoors with them but I do live in Maine and it gets pretty cold and snowy and so far so good. Excellent buy!
