Lightweight and comfortable
By Kimberly Nichols
My old pair of hikers wore out (after just a year!) and I was looking for a lightweight non restrictive shoe for light hiking duty. I have been wearing barefoot shoes for a while now and wanted a minimal shoe that would let my toes wiggle and let my feet do their job. These Keens have a little support and have more protection than your standard barefoot shoe, but they still offer a minimalist experience. I have not gotten a chance to walk more than a mile in them at a time, but I really enjoy them and they are becoming my go-to shoe when I'm out of uniform (my uniform has regulation hiking boots). If you need lots of support and cushiness in your shoe, this may be too light for you. If normal barefoot shoes are a little too flimsy for some of your activities, but you still want that freedom, you should check these out. I suspect these might be good transition shoes from traditional footwear to the barefoot movement as well.

Best shoe I ever put on my foot!
By Donna
This shoe felt great from the moment I put it on my foot. They are very light in weight and the contour arch is so supportive. Hard to believe its a hiker. I often have foot pain but can wear these shoes all day.
I would recommend these shoes to everyone

Very Comfortable but runs small
By Amazon Customer
I ordered these to wear for work. I am a nurse and spend between 10 and 14 hours a day on my feet. Have worn a different style of Keen's at work for several years and LOVE them, they seem to never wear out. When they do start to wear I get a new pain and use the old ones for yard work and such. I had to change to a style that is enclosed as we are not allowed to wear anything open now. I bought these and have worn them for 2 shifts. Very comfortable with the exception that my toes touch the front of the shoe. I normally wear a 7.5 and have never had problems with fit. Sadly I am not going to be able to wear these at work and can't return them because I wore them. I will find a friend to give them too and I just ordered a pair of Merrell's.
