They work and play well.

Right out of the box these shoes look good without that new shoe look. They fit very comfortable and worked with me for 18 hours without a blister or sore spot. Time will tell about their durability, but so far they rock. They sport a wide toe box which is comfortable for my normal 44 (10.5) men's size feet. The lacing system works well, looks good and is easy. Some of these sport hiking shoes have become way too complicated. I have been wearing them in very hot weather, bright sunshine and they keep my feet cool and comfortable. I will take them on an upcoming 10 day hike in the Alps region. Expect a comment or two after the trip about comfort, water resistance and general durability. I wonder how well they will do on steep inclines and rocky paths. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone that requires a good mid weight hiking shoe at an affordable price. Stay well.

Comfortable right out of the box. Fits like any other waterproof boot I have owned, which typically means a 1/2 size larger than a non-waterprrof boot or shoe.
