Lowa Tempest Boots

Lowa continues to be my work footwear in Iraq. I get about a year to a year and one half of wear from a pair. They seem to run a little small so I always order one size larger and the fit is fine. I've worn Oakley, Blackhawk and military issue boots over here and Afghanistan and I prefer these for support, wear and comfort. Well worth the money.

Perfect size for me

Another review suggested these ran a little narrow. So in hope I ordered them as I have narrow feet. They fit perfect.
They are very comfortable and have excellent traction on icy sidewalks and snow/ice covered streets.

great boots!

My feet really like Lowa shoes and boots, so I've been wearing different models over the past decade or so. The only other that comes close is Scarpa for me. These are still made in Europe and I like that. They use great materials and construction, are very comfortable and durable. 4 stars because this model still has the small pull tab on the back which is basically useless.
Also, these will not keep your feet dry in rain, water, mud, but are tolerable in hot weather/climate.
