Bought these for my husband. He loves them. We are beginners and do mostly gym climbing, they are a great product.

Very comfortable

Had to return the pair I got from amazon for reasons not related to the product, but I own another pair. These are very comfortable shoes and the soles are durable. The ankles stretch out a bit after a few weeks which makes them not fit quite as snug. This is also much more a comfort shoe than a technical shoe so if you want the curled toes, look elsewhere. I didn't want that and this shoe has served me well. Also FYI, the red die sticks to your feet, so they will come out of the shoe red every time.

Good Starter Shoes

Good:
1.) Great shoes for anybody who knows nothing about climbing or sizing for climbing shoes. My street size is a 10.5 or 11. I pulled off a pair of these with a size 10 1/2.
2.) Ok grip, just need to brush and clean the sole of the shoe in after or before each climbing session.
3.) I can really squeeze my toes into some great holds and won't worry about slipping.
4.) For my 1st climbing shoes, I found them to be very comfortable after the first month using them (Climbing once or twice a week for 2-3 hours for each bouldering session).
Bad:
1.) After each bouldering session I find my feet covered in the red dye from the interior paint of the shoe, but it's no problem to scrub off.
