Exceeded expectations

I bought these out of curiosity because of the sole. The moment I put my foot in them for the first time I knew they were a keeper. The sole is great and the lacing system gets a snug fit on your entire foot. I have the keen gypsum, erickson, and ketchum, I must say that the only pair of Keens that compete with these are the erickson. The toe protection on these are great, overall I'm satisfied even though I'm on my second day with them. I expect the durability to be good, the comfort is good.

Excellent product

I've been buying hi-tec boots for years now. I buy one every year, as I use them almost every day. What I like about this model in particular is the easier way my feet slide in or out. The opening is bigger, making it a lot easier to put them on in a hurry. Time will tell how this one will perform, but given how comfortable they are at first, I don't think I'll have any issues. My older model hi-tec that is now worn out, caused me some pain on my heels at the end of its life - the sole was worn out, the shoe was basically done, but it performed well throughout the abuse. What I didn't like on the older model was the longevity (or lack of it) of the shoelaces. They would always break at the top where they are used most. This new one is now under testing -- daily use as the old one, lets see how it will go. If the quality has been kept or improved, I'm sure this will also be a winner.

Couldn't be more happier. These shoe are exactly what I was looking for. I'm from Australia and tried to source them locally but very difficult to get. So thought I would give amazon a go and found them straight away.
Ordered them on Friday night with priority shipping an they arrived on my door step Monday morning and still paid half the price for them, than if I would of bought them locally. Out of the box the shoes felt real light and reasonably comfortable, wore them for a couple of days to break them in, now they fit like a glove. Will field test them in a couple of weeks when I hike mount warning can't wait.
