This was my first official hiking boot, so I wasn't sure how they are supposed to fit. I usually wear a 6.5 to 7, depending on if I'm wearing socks. I got these in a 7, and they were almost perfect. Just a teeny bit big, but I'd rather they have too much room than hurt my feet because they're small! They seem sturdy. I walked through some mud and they kept dry. The only bad thing would be they hurt my ankles a little if I tie them too tight, but I think I'll get used to them.

so far shoes seem to do what they say. they keep feet warm and dry but left shoe keeps "digging" into my ankle. Not happy about this.

Love the look, but . . .

These are very attractive and seemingly well-made boots. My only disappointment came in the actual wearing of them on the first day, when I returned home from our morning walk with slightly damp feet! These are supposed to be water-proof boots, yet water manages to get in through the laced area, as the gusset is not high enough. The price is right, and the look is great, but if you really need waterproof boots, then you'll want to look at a different pair.
