Will except miracles that include:

How about this - prove you are not just an extension of my mind.
What is the value of a zero divide?
I mean we d know why the sky is blue.
Yes, the sun used to revolve around the earth - that was back in the days
when the earth was flat.
You had to be crazy to beleive otherwise. Certainly the proof was to the
contrary.
But knowledge changes the truth and the truth estabishes fact.
My point. What makes you so confident that we have attained enough knowledge
to understand the world, the universe in which we seem to exist. Could you
concede that you make be a flat world thinker?
Religion and Theology are not always the same thing. Theology becomes more a
form of Philosophy, religion is just ritualization.
In a theological sense, ritualized religion is worshiping the golden calf.
There has been some interesting scientific studies recently that suggest
that the brain is an interface with electrical energy.
The brain is sensative and responds to electrical energy. The way in which
it responds is with chemical reactions, and those chemical reactions have
phsilogical effects. A rule of physics says that energy is neither created
nor destroyed, it merely changes state.
Now, we still lack knowledge, as we don't really know the source of this
electrical energy. Is it self generated, or is it external.
It could be either. We do know that the significant difference between a
living person and a dead person is the presence or absence of electrical
energy. But a fact has been established. The brain is an organic interface.
It interfaces with electricity. and responds chemically.
This was proven by the great Canadain brain surgeon, Dr Penfield. He could
stick an electroid in your brain, and depending where trigger brain
responses. That is external. So is the electricity internal converting food
to electricity, or does the electricity come from an external source? We
don't know.
If it is just electricty, then we should be able to power a dead brain and
have the person resurrected, to the extent that they just died, and are not
decayed yet, and say didn't have a major organ failure or anything. And if
that electricity source is internal, you should get the same person. But if
you get a zombie, that would suggest that the electricity is external. And
the personality, the intelligence, the awareness is the electricity. Energy.
This would go a long way into scientifically establishing that there is a
soul.
Energy is immortal, and energy is everything and everywhere. Matter is
energy. There is scientific support, while proof is still elusive.
But that proof is directly related to our lack of knowledge. There is enough
scientific data to suggest a likelyhood of God.
There is no real evidence that disproves the existence of God or the soul.
And there is enough data to keep applying the scientific method to the
question. We just may discover that the world is not flat after all.
The best thing is to keep an open questioning mind. And one day we will know
the answers. This is what people do. Figure shit out. But they also make
shit up. Sometimes the lines get blurred. But we, like God, can imagine
something, and then after a lot of work, make it so! I mean how many times
have you heard the expression, If man were meant to fly then he'd have
wings". We fly, and we don't have wings. And what is a few thousand years of
trying, when one day you do it?
Nothing is beyond us, just some things take time. More time than any one
person has, but perhaps not a soul?

Nobody claimed it had to make sense. I guess Adam & Eve had (unmentioned)

result: Christians.

Your interpretation of current research is gibberish. The brains signals are
electrochemical in nature, purely a result of chemical reactions. This is
exceptionally well understood. There is no external source required for the
"electrical" signals of the brain.

I love this stuff. You idiots always cut your own throats, with no help from
anyone else.
http://www.religioustolerance.org/cosmo_bibl2.htm
Joshua 10:12-13: "Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD
delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the
sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the
valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the
people had avenged themselves upon their enemies...." Here, the sun was
believed to have stopped moving. This speaks again of a stationary earth and
moving sun.
1 Chronicles 16:30: "...the world also shall be stable, that it be not
moved." This is one of many passages in the Bible which describe the earth
as firm, stable and immovable.
Job 28:23-24: "God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place
thereof. For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole
heaven." The earth is viewed as having ends, unlike a sphere which has no
end and no beginning.
Psalms: The Psalms contain numerous references to:
God being in heaven.
Heaven being directly above the earth.
God seeing people below him, and hearing their prayers.
The earth being fixed, stable and immovable.
Some examples:
Psalms 14:2: "The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to
see if there were any that did understand, and seek God."
Psalms 19:1-6: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament
sheweth his handywork...Their line is gone out through all the earth, and
their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for
the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth
as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the
heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from
the heat thereof." This passage refers to a housing of some type in which
the sun rests during the night time. It emerges in the morning and passes
each day overhead to the other end of the firmament, heating the entire
world. The author is here referring again to the sun moving over a flat
earth.
Psalms 20:6: "Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him
from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand."
Psalms 33:13-14: "The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of
men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of
the earth."
Psalms 53:2: "God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see
if there were any that did understand, that did seek God."
Psalms 78:23-24: "Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened
the doors of heaven, And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had
given them of the corn of heaven."
Psalms 80:14: "Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from
heaven, and behold, and visit this vine."
Psalms 85:11: "Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall
look down from heaven."
Psalms 93:1: "...the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved."
Psalms 96:10: "...the world also shall be established that it shall not be
moved..."
Psalms 102:19: "For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary;
from heaven did the LORD behold the earth."
Psalms 103:11: "For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his
mercy toward them that fear him."
Psalms 104:1-2: "Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very
great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with
light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain."
Here, the solid vault above the earth is likened to a curtain.
Psalms 104:5: "Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be
removed for ever." This implied that the earth is permanently fixed in
place, does not move, and is positioned on top of foundations.
Psalms 104:13: "He watereth the hills from his chambers...". Water in the
form of rain is seen as being poured from heaven to earth through floodgates
in the firmament.
Psalms 139:8: "If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed
in hell, behold, thou art there." Heaven is upwards from earth; Hell
(actually a mistranslation of the Hebrew place name Sheol) is downwards from
earth.

it has something to do with a biblical recount of how someone made "the sun
stand still".
By implication, one can infer that in fact, if he made the sun stand still,
the sun must have moved before.
If the sun is held to be mobile, that means the Earth must be stationary.
When, Centuries later, Galileo 'proved' the Earth revolved around the Sun,
the Religious leaders of the day claimed he spoke a Heresy. Poor Galileo-
either he had a crisis of Faith that day, or was truly an athiest.

==>at conception, now it seems the worldly thinkers are having a
==>tough time agreeing with that simple fact.
As someone has already pointed out,
"science" says no such thing.
But aside from that, the Roman Catholic Church
also agrees (with NAMBLA, in this instance),
that the holes in little boys' bottoms were placed
there by God for the amusement and gratification
of the church's officers and employees.
IOW, what the church "agrees with" is of less
importance to rational people than that it stops
meddling in the reproductive freedom of women,
and that it keeps its nasty, sticky hands off the
bodies of children.
Failing that, the collection of sick freaks that calls
itself a religious organization should be padlocked,
its assets seized, sold and distributed to its
surviving victims and its leaders stuck in prison,
where they will finally get to feel what altar boys
and other children who had the misfortune to
come into contact with the Church have felt for
centuries.
--
The danger to the life and well-being of children
increases in direct proportion to their proximity
to religion and its practitioners.
