Hello,

i have to have to optimize a VRP Simultanous Pickup and Delivery
Problem (VRPSPD).

Customers are served from one depot, and on customer-side goods needs
to be picked up and delivered.
I need it to optimize material flows for assembly lines in a e-Kanban
system.

I have read that in HeuristicLab Version 3.4 formulation of Pickup and
delivery problems are included.

When this new version will be published?

Thank you for your query.

As you mentioned, the pickup and delivery problem will be included in
plugin version 3.4 of the vehicle routing problem. Unfortunately there
is no release date scheduled yet.

However, you can checkout the branch from
https://dev.heuristiclab.com/trac/hl/core/browser/branches/VRP and
build the plugin yourself. In order to build the plugin, you need a
current version of HeuristicLab located in "C:\Program Files
\HeuristicLab 3.3". I would recommend the current binaries which you
can download from http://dev.heuristiclab.com/trac/hl/core/raw-attachment/wiki/Download/HeuristicLab%203.3.5.zip.
Alternatively, I can email you the plugin files.

You can test the implementation using the problem instances available
at http://dev.heuristiclab.com/trac/hl/core/wiki/Vehicle%20Routing%20Problem.
The implementation is well tested already, however it still needs to
go through our review process and is thus considered to be
experimental.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. I
would be very interested on news regarding your research project and
the application of HeuristicLab.

thank you for your swift response.

i have no experience in the C#-area, if you could send me the files to
my email address i would be greatly thankful.

my email-address: benbe...@gmx.com

i don`t know exactly how to install the extra plugin, as in the plugin-
manager is no possibility to add the plugin manually.

Maybe i need to build a complete new version of the HeuristicLabs and
put the plugin in a seperate folder so it is available or
automatically added?

Hi,
Please I am new to ortools. I have been looking for an ortool implementation of VR VRP Simultanous Pickup and Delivery
Problem (VRPSPD) in Python.
Is this now available. Is there a guide I can follow to understand how this works and is it possible for me to build this using ortools Constraint optimization.

Please can you recommend a guide or point me to resources that can help me implement this using ortools.
