Hello,

We, at Tortalabz are building a hyperlocal discovery and engagement product. We are having an issue with Mongodb which is perfectly OK while being worked locally but crashing sometimes when worked on live server.

Could anyone who has expertise on Mongodb give us suggestions as to what could be wrong to fix the issue.

With Regards,
Sanjib

One reason could be the low memory on the server because Mongo does keep lots of data in the RAM when processing.
You should enable logging and share that once it crashes the next time.

Best,
Rajan

Hi

Is the local copy of mongoDB as big as the prod copy ? If not, can you create a replica and see logs next time when it crashes ?

Thanks!!

Thanks Jaspreet, Rajan, Vineet, Shan for your replies.

We havent enable system logging this time. Hence unable to bring any data.
We have enabled now, waiting for the next crash.

I will reopen the post again.

Thanks
Sanjib
