I have great pleasure in writing to you with an invitation
to visit SASTRA for campus hiring and also for exploring other collaborative
pre/post recruitment engagement models and we have commenced the
campus placement for the 2018 batch students from the September 14, 2017.
Thanks to the uncompromising merit based admission process that SASTRA follows, recruiters in the past have expressed full satisfaction in the recruitment productivity in terms of student quality. As a university that believes in continuous learning, we have also constantly improved our teaching-learning mechanism based on feedback and shortcomings identified by recruiters.

About SASTRA
SASTRA University was established in the year 1984 & Accredited in 1996. Renamed Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy (SASTRA) and conferred Deemed University Status in 2001 and Accredited by NAAC with A Grade (Highest Grade) and emerges top in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The University Currently offers various UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes in Engineering, Management, Law, Humanities & Education and is amongst the leading institutions in the country.
SASTRA University has acquired three international recognitions this year. SASTRA is one of the 31 Indian Institutions in the ‘Times Higher Education World University Ranking’. Student career development initiatives
Students of SASTRA are given ample opportunities to develop their inner potentials through various interventions. The 2 credit personality development course offered to all the students by the experienced faculty members of Dept of Training &Placement, in addition to various training programmes offered by corporate houses throughout the year help them not only to hone their soft skills but to build their overall personality. Fast learners are allowed to take extra courses ( called Accelerated Course RegistrationSystem) in the early semesters to complete their course requirements within 7 semesters and are allowed to spend their entire 8 th semester(December to May) outside SASTRA in the form of semester abroad, research internships , internship cum training with recruiters etc..
