Dear Neighbours: everyone is welcome to attend either or both of the following events organised by the Friends of the Trap Grounds Local Wildlife Site:

SUNDAY 13 MAY: Work party, 2 pm to 4 pm. Please come and help with some essential maintenance jobs; tasks for all abilities. Wear boots and old clothes. Tools are provided, but please bring a handsaw or loppers if you can. Meet us by the tool shed (to the left of the entrance) just before 2 pm, or come and find us later on (ring me on 07879 488785 if lost). Rain will not deter us!

SUNDAY 20 MAY: Springwatch Afternoon, 2 pm to 4 pm. Activities for all ages: a wildlife quest, pond dipping, guided walks, story telling, and a sensory activity. All welcome; no admission charge. Children should wear old clothes and wellies, and be accompanied by an adult. Adults, please bring pencils or biros for your family.

The entrance to the Trap Grounds is on the canal towpath, immediately south of the Frenchay Road bridge.
