How to receive email content [subject, body, attachments] using Haxe

Hello!

I would like to write a program in Haxe that can establish a connection to a mail server(gmail) and retrieve mail content. I came across the following github repository which was intriguing but I'm not sure how to implement it.

I understand that IMAP is the protocol used to receive mail. I need some kind of API documentation that would help me achieve this. Any help/guidance is appreciated.
