HathiTrust Update on May 2014 Activities

Please find attached our update on activities for the month of May. We have late breaking news this month of the 2nd Circuit's ruling on the Authors Guild appeal. Other news includes the following:

• the alpha release of a dataset from the HathiTrust Research Center containing word counts and other page-level features;
• the posting of a developer position for the HathiTrust Government Documents Registry;
• an update on the May in-person meeting of the Board of Governors;
• the announcement of 2 new members of the Program Steering Committee and the full membership of the Print Monographs Archive Task Force.
