how to install VIM to fedora 18 live cd

Im working in windows 7 os and I've downloaded Linux Fedora 18edition
and I bootthrough a live CD it was installed successfuly but through
the terminal vim doesn't work so i downloaded vim Fedora site but I
can't install it on Linux. tell me what should I do for that even I
can't install that to hard disk

log-in to a terminal as root, and user yum to install vim 

# su - 

# yum install vim -y

make sure you have the access to the internet.
