GNU ගැන හරියටම කියන්න මං දන්නැ.
නමුත් රිචර්ඩ් ස්ටෝල්මන් මහත්මයා 1991 විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙදි ඉගෙන ගද්දි පටන් ගත්ත ප්‍රොජෙක්ට් එකෙ නම තමා ඒක. එයා එක සිංදුවකින් හොයා ගත්ත නමක් විදියට මං දන්නෙ.

GPL කියන්නෙ General Public License කියන එක ඕක පටන් ගත්තෙ GNU ප්‍රොජෙක්ට් එකත් එක්ක.

GPL කියන එක බුද්ධාගමට සම්බන්ද වෙනවානෙ තිං

මොකද ඕක නොමිලේ දෙන දෙයක්නෙ.. ඉතිං පිනක්නෙ ? :D

තව ඔය මෘදුකාංග වල හොර කොපි දාගත්තාම වෙන්නෙ දෙවැනි සිල්පදේ කැඩෙන එකනෙ.. ඒකෙන් වලකින්න පුලුවන් GPL පාවිච්චි කලාම :D

GPL කියන එක බුද්ධාගමට සම්බන්ද වෙනවානෙ තිං

මොකද ඕක නොමිලේ දෙන දෙයක්නෙ.. ඉතිං පිනක්නෙ ? :D

GPL යනු නොමිලේ දෙන දෙයක් නෙමෙයි. GPL යටතේ තියෙන දෙයක් මුදලට විකිණිම කරන්න පුළුවන්. එහෙම කරන අවස්ථා ඕන තරම් තියෙනවා.

GNU යනු සම්පූර්ණයෙන් ම නිදහස් මෙහෙයුම් පද්ධතියක් නිපදවීම සඳහා රිචර්ඩ් ස්ටෝල්මන් ආරම්භ කළ ව්‍යාපෘතිය යි. එයින් බිහි කළ මෙහෙයුම් පද්ධතිය GNU හැටියට හැඳින්නුවා. ලිනක්ස් කර්නලය සමග භාවිත වෙන අවස්ථාවල එය gnu/linux කියනවා.
