Any plans on adding support for Animated GIFs anytime soon? =)

I love Lower Third on G+ Hangouts so far and we use it on our local (Philippine) tech show to great results. (Using Live Hangouts)

Particularly I've found that Screenshare app typically crashes on me and wouldn't turn off mid-show so I switched to using the Lower Third's overlay function - utilizing images with transparency to (hopefully) decent effect. (It makes it look like a News show on TV)

I was wondering though if it was any at all possible to add support for animated GIFs (or the newfangled cooler sounding "cinemagraphs") so we can have more fun with it.

There are no current plans by Google to add GIF support in the API.
