(apologies for cross posting)

HAMRers,

A wonderful music technology festival -- creatively named "Music Tech Fest" -- is coming to Microsoft New England Research and Development in Cambridge, Massachusetts March 21 - 23, the week before HAMR Philly. They've had festivals in London the last two years, and are doing another one in New Zealand literally right now. I was at the one in London last year and found it to be delightful.

The festival comprises two days of 15 minute talks, performances, and demos, plus a hackathon and possibly sound art installations. The organizers are seeking informal proposals for presentations. Presentations can be just about anything related to both music and technology, can be a talk and/or music performance, and should be 10 to 15 minutes. Proposals should be a title and a few sentences describing what you want to do. Note: there is no money involved, but there will be press there, including "BBC Click" which will be profiling their favorite presentations.

If you've got something (or somethings) you'd like to present, please send me a proposal (at jma...@gmail.com) and I'll pass it along. Feel free to send this to folks you think might want to present.

Oh, and here's the URL of the festival series: http://www.musictechfest.org/

Best,
Jonathan
