Hi all,

HAMR 2013 is approaching quickly!

For those of you on the list who have not registered, please do so.  I'll be closing the forms next week.  Also, please encourage any interested colleagues to register if they have not already.  We'd like to get a good headcount before the event.

HAMR will take place from Friday (6/28) afternoon until Sunday (6/30) evening.  It looks like many of you will be coming from outside of NYC.  Given that some people may not have travel funding, I'd like to urge NYC locals offer up available couches, beds, and floorspace to outsiders.  On that note, I have two full-size beds available very close to Columbia which could sleep up to four (depending on whether you're willing to share the bed/room).  If anyone else is feeling generous, please send an email to this list.  Alternatively, if you have funding, these hotels are all in the $120-a-night range and are close by:

Looking forward to seeing you all at the end of the month,

-Colin

Hey, has anyone claimed the spots you're offering yet or is there still a sleeping space up for grabs?

Likewise, I'm curious about the aforementioned beds.  I can grab a hostel if needed but would far prefer a spare bed or a couch as funds are tight.  Will happily repay any host with beers, meals and an open ended offer of a place to stay in Boston.

Please let me know.  Many thanks, James
