The Halifax Tool Library would like to partner with the Halifax Maker Space on possibly doing some classes on tool/maker related things, If somebody on the board could contact me that would be great(
matthew....@gmail.com). The only email I have is for Baha and he is no longer on the board from what I understand. The tool library might be getting another space in the building were currently in that the tool library may be willing to share it, which could do wonders for the Maker Space, but there are others who would like to use the space so respond ASAP so I can put you in contact with the HTL Board Of Directors
The sign on the building says storage, but there is a lot of cool/hipster shops in this building that fit the maker movement.
I'm at the HTL most Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I recommend the board members and everyone else reading this come check out our current space and say Hi, Volunteering is free and gets you access to tools for free so long as you volunteer a few times a month, we NEED volunteers.
If your working on a project why buy a tool your only going to use once when you can borrow one for a week or more if you still need it.
