Instructables.com Makerspace Contest

I mentioned this in the email announcement that just went out but in case you're not on the mailing list here are the details. Otherwise just skip straight to replying with your Instructables username to let me know you want to join the team. 

We have an opportunity for you to show off more of your projects and help out the Makerspace. Instructables.com currently has a Makerspace contest on (details at http://www.instructables.com/contest/Makerspace/) We need to form a team of 5-20 people from Halifax and submit projects. Quantity and quality matter, as they count total submissions and how many of them get featured. We need at least 5 people to commit to submitting a project. If you are interested please reply to this message and let me know your Instructables username. If we get 5 people by the end of tomorrow (Saturday) then I will submit a team application. If we have enough to form a team others can join later. The contest continues until the end of August. Some of the prizes include: laser cutter, cnc mill, 3d printer, gift codes for Makeblock and 3D Hubs.

I'm in. I have one ready to go under my glassgiant account.   And I've got maybe 5 or 6 that could be finished by the time the contest ends under that account and the account makeiteasydiy.

Hey Adam,

I'll join in. I'm planning on building some raised bed planters in the back which might make for a decent project to start with. I'm sure I have other things that I can finish and document for other projects.

It's too bad we didn't make our deadline for signups; maybe once we get into a space we can sign up for the next one.  

I just published an instructable I had in the hopper, and it got featured.

Just got an email saying this is a finalist in the "Out of My Comfort Zone" contest.  Have to wait until Monday to see where it places, but thanks to everyone who voted. Looks like I'll get a T-shirt anyway. :)
