I'm wondering if I supplied a vector or graphic if it could be cut into a small ~ 1x3x0.25 inch metal or acrylic or if the laser cutter is either shelved or still cracked.
If so, could someone shoot me a quote? I'd supply the material.

I am on the Makerspace board.
I also work for T4G.
For the record I have been chasing senior management on a weekly basis for this lease agreement. They've agreed to take the makerspace on as a tenant, but this is new territory for them and as such is taking a bit longer than we hoped to secure the legal detail. The company is excited to support the makerspace and I've been assured the paperwork is moving through the ranks. Since we've negotiated an exceptional deal on rent and given the absence of competive offers, we will just have to sit tight for now. We understand there is a degree of fatigue here on the lack of visible action and we're diplomatically championing the issue.
We would love to have the laser cutter up and running. We also want everyone associated with this group to work in a safe and responsible manner, so will confirm when the laser cutter is available. It's important we work in a way that doesn't compromise our insurance should a problem occur.
What's up with that anyways? Moving into T4G sometime soon?
IMHO it's better to have the thing in use (and generating revenue) than sitting on a shelf collecting dust... IIRC the reason it failed was subzero temperature which I'd be very surprised to see in June.
