Are you entering the 2015 Hackaday Prize?

Hello Halifax Makerspace,

We were wondering if you're going to enter the 2015 Hackaday Prize? It's an innovation competition to get people hacking hardware for good! Help people, save energy, reduce pollution, just build Build Something That Matters and get in the running for loads of rewards. 

You can take part as a team or individually, and you can enter more than one project. Deadline for you entry idea(s) is August 17th. If you make it to the next round, you'll have a few more weeks to develop your project or protoype. Winners are announce in November!

The Grand Prize is a trip to space, but we're giving away thousands of $$$$ of smaller prizes for great ideas or implementations.  This Thursday we're giving 30 x $100 gift cards for Ponoko laser cutting, but we've been giving away a mountain of stuff. We're doing similar giveaways until the contest ends. The sooner you enter the more chances you have to grab the goodies.
