This is more of a Make Tyler Weird notice, but still.
If you know what 6x6 is: come to What About Kabob's tomorrow (Saturday) from 3-5p to paint your own 6x6 canvas (canvas/paint/supplies provided for free). Then come to the (free) exhibition on June 6 (Thursday) at the Gallery Main Street Downtown. There's food and drinks and lots of canvases to buy.
If you don't know what 6x6 is: The Gallery hosts an annual "6x6 Exhibition" to raise money to support the downtown arts scene. People paint 6x6 canvases and sign the back; the Gallery hosts an exhibition; visitors stake out their favorites and at a certain time, the canvases become purchasable for $20 each. You might end up with a Cézanne! You won't, he's dead, but you might end up with another famous local artist's! Or an ex-girlfriend's! Or a total stranger's! It doesn't matter, because you bought based on your heart, and your money goes to support the arts, and you're a little tipsy from the free beer, and you got to fight off a local news person or something!
Anyway, if you want to get your canvas on the wall, this is your last chance. Go to What About Kabob's tomorrow, maybe eat some kimchi fries, and paint a canvas for free. You'll be supporting the arts and your tummy.

PS: Any references to free food & drink are about the exhibition, not What About Kabob's. There you buy. Support your local gyro-slinger.
