Ads and Its Cost to Journalism

Very interesting and real concern of the cost of ads to journalism.. How much content versus ads are being loaded when you open a news site? How does that cost translate to value for money for the reader's mobile data to load it?

great that someone thought about this.
sometimes loading a web page takes ages, sometimes not, same content, same ads, same browser, same bandwidth.
even though i am skeptical about their methodology, i quite agree that ads increase costs of browsing. i think many factors at play here that need to be put into the equation.
