Request for informants: research on Hackerspace in the region.

Hello! 

I am researcher from Bangkok, Thailand working on the issue of Freedom of Expression (FoE) in Southeast Asia region.

This project 'Redefining FoE from the Ground' aims to explore the idea of freedom of expression from various people. One of our concerns is people in hackerspaces which are now actively growing in this region. I, as a researcher would like to talk to founders and members of hackerspace in 4 countries, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Singapore,  and then write a feature about this communities. We hope the information will help us understand more on hackerspace and also broaden ideas about freedom in this region.

As I found on website that HacekerpsaceSG is very active and a pioneer of the region, so I would like to talk with people in these communities.  I plan to talk to 3-4 people from the communities and go to the venue around  May-July 2016, if it is possible.
