Spreading the word on the SIA App Challenge.

Singapore Airlines has launched their second edition of the SIA App Challenge. This year, in addition to the Student Category for full-time students in tertiary institutions, they have also introduced a new Open Category for non-students keen to showcase their ideas and prototypes for the travel space.

An exciting tech trip to Silicon Valley to visit tech giants IBM and Google, and aircraft manufacturer Airbus, awaits the winner of the Student Category. Runners-up will walk home with KrisFlyer miles that they will be able to use for their next flight on Singapore Airlines.

For the Open Category, the top prize is return air tickets to any destination Singapore Airlines fly to, plus a cash prize of $5,000 for the team. Runners-up will win cash prizes.
