I am using OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. Anyone knows if Gurobi will work ok?

Sure. Parts of Gurobi is developed using OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, because this is
what I am using ;)

Many thanks for your answer Tobias.

It worked, but I had the issue https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/gurobi/ozZ0m-KMu38 with C++. I solved with the flag -D_GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI=0.

At this time, I am using g++ (SUSE Linux) 6.1.1 20160815 [gcc-6-branch revision 239479].

It would be nice keeping using a recent series of g++. Would this imply in major problems that are good to be aware?

Note that in our newest release we provide our C++ interface in source code. We
do this exactly for this reason: if a user needs to link with a different ABI
than what we used to compile it, the user can just compile our C++ API himself.
