Getting start with gurobi

Hi, I'm pretty new to gurobi and I'm trying to build models using the c++ interface. When I was trying to run the examples in the <installdir>/examples/build directory (I'm using C++_examples_2010.sln), it seems that the callback.exe is always executed and I never get solutions when running those examples.
May anyone with experiences help me to figure out why this is happening? Thanks!
