How do I talk to someone about getting permission to use assets in an open source app built using the Open Platform API?

Hi there

First: Amazing! Best API / documentation / API explorer I've used. Was a real joy to use.

Secondly: I built an Android app using the Open Platform and would like to publish it on the Google Play store. Is there anyone I can talk to regarding use of materials / images? I know this isn't strictly a "how to use the API" question but not sure where to start.

Many thanks

Mez

This logo page seems to specify that use of the API is accompanied with a "Powered by theguardian" logo. They also link to the Terms and Conditions page for the API, which might lay out your permissions w.r.t. Guardian content; specifically section 6: "Your Non-Transferable Licence to Use OP Content".

Hope this helps,
Kit

Hi Mez

Thank you for the kind words! We really appreciate it.

We'd love to hear about your app. Could you send an email to openpl...@theguardian.com with further details of your app and uses of our content? I will check with the rights and licensing team to check.

Many thanks

Chris
