I'm connected to my DSE Graph via remote console and everything seems to be working just fine, except that I can't seem to create variables.

My init script:
:remote connect tinkerpop.server conf/remote.yaml session-managed
:remote config timeout max
:remote console
:remote config alias g test.g

My remote.yaml script:
hosts: [10.10.10.10]
port: 8182
serializer: { className: org.apache.tinkerpop.gremlin.driver.ser.GryoMessageSerializerV1d0,
              config: { serializeResultToString: true, ioRegistries: [org.apache.tinkerpop.gremlin.tinkergraph.structure.TinkerIoRegistry] }}
connectionPool: {
  maxContentLength: 65536000
}

Example of the issue:
gremlin> x = 10
==>10
gremlin> x
No such property: x for class: Script38
Display stack trace? [yN] y
org.apache.tinkerpop.gremlin.groovy.plugin.RemoteException: No such property: x for class: Script38

So... what's going on?

Thanks!

Works in apache tinkerpop server/console 3.2.1 and .2.  I would file a bug with DSE Graph.

Sounds about right. I upgraded to gremlin-console 3.2.2 from 3.2.0-incubating and the problem seems to have resolved itself.
