I'm attempting to find good interactive reporting tools for a Titan graph exposed through Rexster.  I'd love to find something like "Pentaho for Graphs", but...

I know that Gephi has a "Streaming" plugin, but I am not clear how to use it.  If I have Rexster at http:/buddhasrexster.com:8182 on a REMOTE machine, is there a way to have Gephi issue queries against it?  For instance, I don't see a Gremlin terminal within Gephi itself.  I only see examples of using Gephi as the master instead of the client.

I appreciate your time,
b

There is no such integration that I know of between Rexster and Gephi, but we do have such a thing in TinkerPop3:

If I'm reading this correctly, this plugin allows you to connect to Gephi as the master.  I'm looking for a way to query an existing Titan database and visualize the results without having to download files directly.  Would this plugin help?

and thanks Stephen, I'm a fan of your work!

You query titan in the gremlin console and those traversals are issued to the Gephi streaming server for visualization.  You don't have to output to GraphML and then import into Gephi with that plugin.  Here's an old video that demonstrated how it worked:

The features of the plugin have become more advanced since then.  Daniel Kuppitz is a big fan of the video's musical accompaniment.  Enjoy!
