I was wondering if there was anyone that would be capable of writing
an IE version that would address the same things that Greasemonkey did
when dealing with security issues.
I'd be very interested in hearing about a solution that would work on
IE with the javascript sandboxing in place.

then there is also ie7pro (i guess that is the name). any firefox gm
script will directly run in it without requiring any changes in the
code, only that you need to name the script as name.ieuser.js (that is,
instead of name.user.js for ff gm scripts).
Btw, during my recent periodic formatting of my box and reinstall of xp,
I have not bothered to install ie7 beta as it was too slow compared to
ie6. I am having ie 6.0. I wonder which gm clone will work in that.

Yup, aware of ie7pro as well. The don't seem to be open with their
source however, does anyone know if they sandbox? It looks promising
but I prefer open solutions. Heck I'd sponsor someone capable of
writing a good opensource version.
