GM and Firefox 59.0.2 fubar

since I installed the newest Firefox 59.0.2 a few days ago, while GM installs, none of the scripts run.
Is there a reason Firefox seems to want to prevent GreaseMonkey from working with their product?
Is this a FF or a GM problem?
Do you have a solution in the making?
What is the PREFERRED FF version GM ?
Perhaps you could maintain an archive of legacy FF install exe so we can revert to an older, compatible version
