Hi All: There was a huge explosion at Puerto Sandino. 2 huge Puma Energy tanks exploded and there are reports of oils spills all over the place. The government and Puma Energy are denying oil nslisck but fishermen said thereis a huge area affected. Can anyone provide an actual image of that area or at least let us know where to get one? 12.1972° N, 86.7580° W is that location coordinates. Please help! Thanks in advance http://abcnews.go.com/International/pictures-billowing-flames-smoke-rise-oil-tank-explosions/story?id=41512577

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the note, and wow sorry to see all this! I don't know of anyone mapping there right now. Looping in Skytruth who might be able to help with some current imagery(?) I'm ccing Public Lab organizer, Pat Coyle, as well who has done some work with Engineers without Boarders in the region. Also, if you're available and interested in mapping the spill with a few people locally balloon or kite mapping to gather some imagery, let me know!

Thanks Stevie,

I don't know of resources in the region who could help. Sorry.
