Interesting.  This documentary - Manufacturing Landscapes features heartbreaking photo-cinematography including northern Canada.

During the FortMac fires there were conversations about aerial and other imagery in the region. The legal ramifications might be a barrier in addition to the government. But I have hope that the visual stories get told.
