The Java Developer will have solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Interpret functional and technical document to produce software solutions with unit tests. Ability to work in a team environment, also achieve targets independently. Develop solutions using Java/J2EE web technologies.
The essential functions of the position are:
- Understand
& Participate in functional and technical design documents creation.
- Design,
Implement and Test software as per specifications.
- Learn
& Adopt Java Web Platform technologies
- Understand
Network and Operation System principals.
The Qualifications
- The
successful candidate will have a degree focused in Computer Science or
Information Systems
- Excellent
programming and problem solving skills with an aptitude to learn & apply
new technology skills
- 4-6
years working in software development & object oriented design and analysis
- 0-3
years of work experience with the following: JDK, J2EE, SQL, Web page design
and development (HTML, and XML, AJAX, JSP), Hibernate, Struts, Spring,
GWT,Tomcat
- Strong
Back end technologies knowledge: Relational databases, SQL & JDBC
- Strong
Front end technologies knowledge: JSP, HTML & JavaScript
- Comfortable
with Windows & Linux environment.
- Work
experience with Eclipse, jQuery framework, , JBoss, JSF and Rational Unified
Process and Agile is a plus.
