Grails 3.0.9 on WebLogic 12.2.1

Hi,

I am trying to deploy a Grails 3.0.9 application to WebLogic 12.2.1, although WebLogic accepts the .war file the application never seems to run.  (HTTP 503 and the application itself is listed as Failed).

Are there configuration changes I need to make to allow the Grails application to deploy to WebLogic?

I downloaded Grails 3.2.8, the documentation has that list of Web servers which are apparently supported, but no info.  In supportedJavaEEContainers.html there is a link pointing to "known deployment issues" (http://grails.org/Deployment ) but it's blocked.

If I deploy the basic "helloworld" app in the guide to WebLogic 12c, will it work?

Deployed, WebLogic marks it as "Active" with a green upward arrow... except that the app doesn't show the Grails page.
I tried the following URIs on the port for the target WebLogic server: /helloworld-0.1/ , /hellowworld-0.1/index.gsp, All return HTTP 404.

In WebLogic though it is listed as follows.

Hi Patrice,

I don't know why http://grails.org/Deployment is blocked, anyway have you set up weblogic.xml?

Try following the steps mentioned in this link to deploy a basic application:
Grails 3.1.4 will not deploy correctly as a .war on WebLogic 12c

I tried this using Grails 3.2.8 and I was able to deploy successfully (and access the grails page) to weblogic 12.1.3.
