Urgent: Opportunity for research in machine learning in Neuroscience research lab in Europe

Hi all,

I have an opportunity to work as research assistant under renowned Neuroscience professor in Neuroscience lab in Europe for next 9 months. I would be working on Machine Learning models for the neuroscience project. I don't have much research work reflected in my profile.

I am from ECE background and would like to pursue masters in Computers/ ML. I have been working as Software Engineer for last 1 year. What factors should I consider before I make the decision? Is research experience required/ helpful for Masters or is does it only matter for PhD? Please let me know what you think about this, I have to decide on this, as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.
