I installed productive inbox chrome extension mainly for defer email responses etc.  Also, it has similar to gqueues for gmail functionality like create task from email which is not my main requirement from that tool.  I intend to use gqueues for that.

productiveinbox.com

However it seems gqueues create task button in gmail is disabled after installing productive inbox.

Is it possible to re-enable it?

I disabled the productive inbox extension, and then found the Create Task button is on top, rather than at the bottom of the email as earlier.

I am not sure if it was there before when productive inbox extension had been enabled, but I am not going to enable that extension right away since it is interfering with normal gmail usage, so I am waiting for their support to get back.

Is Create Task button at the top of gmail message the expected functionality in Gqueues right now?

Hi Vivek -

Yes, the old GQueues Gmail Gadget ("create task" button at BOTTOM of email) was shutdown last month.

The new GQueues for Gmail Chrome extension ("Create task" button at TOP of email) is the way you can create tasks out of emails moving forward.
