Just a quick note that the Raspberry pi packages were made and tested
on Raspbian Jessie and have not bee confirmed to work on Raspbian
Stretch. The website has been updated with this info.

Is there any update on GQRX on Raspberry stretch?

Thanks.

I am not aware of anybody working on it, so I have no updates. Do you?

Hello
I have used a clean installation Raspbian Stretch on a Raspberry PI 3 with SDRPlay
I have installed the SDRPlay drivers, built SoapySDRSDPlay and SoapySDR and downloaded GQRX binaries for GQRX.
All works with Device String driver=sdrplay,soapy=0

Hi Karl,

Many thanks for the info. I suspected the binary might work but was not sure.

Anyway, building gqrx on Raspbian Stretch should be easier now and the
strategy I would recommend is as follows:

1. Install gnuradio-dev from Raspbian repository
2. Install the driver libraries from source - some might be OK from repository
3. Install gr-osmosdr (or gr-osmosdr-gqrx) from source
4. Install gqrx from source

Before running gqrx make sure to run volk_profile (available in libvolk-bin)

I'd be happy to assist if anyone wants to give it a go :)

Thanks guys for getting interested in this. I will hopefully look forward to a GQRX running on Strech Rasbian.

Hi,
today I got GQRX up and running on a raspi 2. I used a clean install of stretch (update/upgread) and installed it after downloading the binary file from gqrx.dk for the raspi 2. Using decimation factor 8 @ 1.8MSPS and a fft block size of 2048@15fps (tnx to M0MBO, Malcolm and W9RAN, Bob) it works.
tnx a lot for that very interesting piece of software
