I have a fairly nice raw audio display working in wxPerl. Found and fixed the earlier bug that was preventing decoding of the entire packet. I also have a small Perl script that sends "test" packets to the Gqrx port for testing purposes. I added a snapshot feature that dumps the screen to a file on a button click.

There's no way of knowing currently if any UDP packets are being dropped. I have noticed a 5-8 second delay between hearing the audio and receiving/displaying the waveform.

If there's any interest, I can post the scripts. They are based on Perl, wxPerl, GD, and IO::Sockets.

It was a fun project!
