Gqrx 2.3.1-2 crash ( Raspberry PI 3 with Jessie Raspbian)

  I had used  Gqrx 2.3.1-2 version in the  RASPBERRY PI 3 , raspbian with LXDE environment with RTL-SDR dongle.
 
  rtl_test works fine in user mode and no problem reported by this utility

  But Gqrx crash immediatly with the following messages below with a popup window displaying " Gqrx has detected problems with the current configuration"
  No device configuration dialog was opened

  i didn't found any similar case in this google.group and i don't know how to configure Gqrx. conf file

  As i am new in PI and Gqrx i have no idea how to fix the missing RANDR X11 extension and  pa_simple_new() failed: Connection refused

Hello Good news

With help of gqrx 2.4 crash when demodulating topic i had added

sudo apt get install pulseaudio

sudo apt get install pavucontrol

sudo apt get install libpulse-dev

Gprx is now working for 1 or 2 minutes, i can display the waterfall spectrum
but it freeze with a stream of O  characters written in Console

I guess i can't correct that with some buffers size adjustement (Yesterday it seems i had seen that somewhere in this forum)

So i continue to work this point

Finally
               i had recompiled Gqrx from github/csete Gqrx sources
        Now it s a little better Gqrx freeze only after few minutes with same behaviour

    freeze with a stream of O  characters written in Console

    Any idea ?

What is the CPU load while gqrx is running?
Can you try reducing the sample rate to 240 or 300 kHz and see if it
works better?
